Zoo Vyškov
Zoo Vyškov (official name ZOO PARK Vyškov) was founded in 1965. It specializes mainly in domestic and farm animals from all over the world (more than 1200 animals in more than 120 species and breeds). The main goal of Zoo Vyškov is to show children that cows are not purple or that eggs are not made in the supermarket, which are facts that remain a secret for many children today... :-)
Zoopark Vyškov is home to the contact Dvoreček naší babičky (Our Grandma's Yard), where (not only) children can feed or pet goats, lambs and other animals. The Zoopark also has a replica of a Hanáček farm from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, which houses exhibitions of traditional rural life and interactive exhibitions of the environmental education center. The zoopark also includes DinoPark Vyškov.
